Having earned her bachelor's degree at the University of Akron, Paula enjoyed many years as a personal enhancement coach.  Before receiving her master's in clinical hypnotherapy and certification in handwriting analysis, she was an accomplished equestrian.  She coach, trained and competed in the hunter/jumper and dressage disciplines.  During the Atlanta Olympics, her training facility was home to the Swiss Olympic team and participated in training events with one of the Olympic horses.  Her daughter ranked in the top ten in the southeast as a junior competitor.

Earning her Masters of Clinical Hypnotherapy Certification at the Atlanta National Hypnotherapy Institute has allowed Paula to log thousands of hours with hundreds of clients in her private practice.  Her educational background and extensive experience in the field of hypnotherapy allowed her the opportunity to serve as an instructor at the institute.

She opened her doors in 1999 as The Center for Motivation.  Over time it grew and evolved into the Atlanta Hypnotherapy Center, and then relocating to her new home in the Low Country, has become The Gallery....of Events and Services.

As an advocate of alternative health practices, Paula has been a past ambassador of the Complimentary Alternative Medical Association and a member in good standing of the National Guild of Hypnotists.

Paula has studied handwriting analysis extensively and is the area's leading authority as a Certified Handwriting Expert with many of her report of findings successful in court cases.

Experience as a guest lecturer on Norwegian Cruise Lines and presentations at the American College of Physicians Conference has allowed Paula to gain valuable experience as a presenter.  She has also had extensive media exposure through multiple public appearances as a featured guest on radio and television programs in Georgia. 
 
Paula is also past president and board member of Cumming Kiwanis, an active member in the Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce, past president and board member of Women in Networking, served on the selection committee and as a family sponsor of Habitat for Humanity, voted Top Ten Women in Business in Forsyth County Georgia, volunteer therapist at Family Haven women's shelter, Judge Jackson's Citizen Review Panel and alumni and committee member of Leadership Forsyth.
